The ThankMu plugin
A browser plugin that blocks ads for free, and connects to your ThankMu account when you want to read past a paywall.
Coming soon
The plugin is not in the Chrome Web Store yet. Join the waitlist and we will tell you when it is ready. The waitlist sign-up is not live on this page yet.
What it does today
- Blocks ads on the pages you visit, for free, with no account.
- Lets you sign in to your ThankMu account.
Coming later
These are planned, not part of the first release:
- It will show whether an article is free or paywalled before you click.
- It will point to free coverage of the same story when a paywall is in the way.
- It will let you spend tokens to open articles at partner publishers.
Good to know
- The plugin is built on an open-source ad blocker.
- It is designed for Chrome first. Other browsers may follow.
- You can remove it at any time from your browser's extensions page.
