Read the news without the ads, and pay only for what you choose to read.
ThankMu is a premium ad blocker. Blocking ads is free. When an article you want sits behind a paywall at a partner publisher, you can spend prepaid tokens to read it, and the publisher is paid for it.
Free where it counts
The ThankMu browser plugin blocks ads at no cost, and it always will. You do not need an account to block ads, and you are never asked to pay to keep them away.
Pay for the articles you actually want
Many people who block ads also hit paywalls several times a day, and do not want one more monthly subscription for every site. With ThankMu you buy tokens once and use them across our partner publishers. There is no separate sign-up with each site.
Publishers are paid, too
Readers who block ads earn publishers nothing today. When you spend tokens on an article, the publisher receives a share of what you paid. The money goes to the people who made the journalism, and you stay on their site to read it.
One account, in plain view
Your ThankMu account is designed to show your token balance and how much time the blocker has saved you. Tokens are prepaid credits held in your account. They are not a cryptocurrency.
